Testbourne is a well-established rural community school, situated in Whitchurch and serving the surrounding area. It is a mixed, comprehensive school for pupils aged 11-16 with approximately 760 pupils on roll. The first rural community school in Hampshire, Testbourne is set in extensive grounds in a small county town. It has a favourable staff-pupil ratio. It is housed for the most part in traditional buildings but enjoys excellent modern facilities. Excellent sports facilities include a swimming pool, new tennis courts, multi-gym, large sports hall and gymnasium. The school has close links with local industry and has achieved the Investors in People Award. The school is small enough to know all its pupils well, but large enough to offer a broad curriculum with effective ability grouping. The school aims to provide a caring and stimulating environment for learning.
