Background:
The John Keble Primary School is situated in the village of Hursley, just outside the historic city of Winchester. It was built in 1927, the school is set in extensive grounds which include a play ground, sports field, woods, a conservation area and pond, overlooking the fields of Hursley Estate. With a building extension completed in 1999, the school provides spacious accommodation for just over one hundred pupils aged from four to eleven years old. The school aims to provide a broad, balanced and differentiated curriculum. There are at least two computers available in each classroom. In addition, the recently established ICT suite provides access to six computers, of which two have Internet connection.
