Background:
The school founded in the late 19th Century, it stands in a pleasant rural setting situated on the southern outskirts of the town of Tadley, about six miles north of Basingstoke and has extensive views of the countryside to the south. It is a large non-denominational County Primary School catering for about 400 children between the ages of four and 11. More recent parts of the building and the school playing field are situated at the rear with extensive views across fields to the south. The original Victorian building faces the original village green and has been tastefully modernised and extended, while retaining its period charm. The school curriculum consists of all the activities that children experience when in school and these should be designed to promote the intellectual, personal, social and physical development of the pupils.
