Oak Farm Community School is a small school that is an integral part of the community it serves. The school aims to offer young people the opportunity to experience a broad and balanced curriculum, which offers a variety of activities including games, gymnastics, dance and athletics. The extensive facilities available for physical education and sports include a fully equipped gymnasium and sports hall, a full sized synthetic pitch, large playing fields, three hard court areas and a fully equipped fitness suite. The school fully supports the thriving level of inter-school competition in the area with teams in all the major sports. The school has recently had its Sportsmark status renewed for a second time. It also provides a variety of arts experiences and has been awarded the prestigious Artsmark Gold award. Students may also opt for extra tuition in music through the Hampshire music service. The school has a large music room and a drama studio. Students are also offered a range of cultural experiences through visits to art galleries, concerts and theatres. The school's aim for every student is that they are able to develop into mature young adults capable of making sensible, informed decisions about their future based on good self knowledge and high self esteem.
