Background:
Oak Meadow Church of England voluntary controlled school, catering for children between the ages of four and 11 years. The school is fortunate in having a large site, which has been attractively planted with shrubs and trees. It has a large playing field, enabling football and cricket to be played with ease and plenty of space for athletic events. The school has also a pond and wild area which are used by all classes to support areas of the curriculum. A range of extra-curricular activities are offered at lunchtime and after-school. The school aims to create an environment, which allows all children to learn, and celebrates children's efforts and achievements.
