Background:
Somers Park Primary School is a primary and nursery school for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is three to 11. The school has many facilities for the children to use including two large playgrounds, an all-weather pitch for sporting activities, a library containing about 3,000 books and an ICT suite with 20 computers all of which have access to the internet. A wide range of extra-curricular activities are offered at lunchtime and after-school. These activities include football, netball, cricket, hockey and rugby. The school aims to create an environment in which children are happy, secure and hardworking.
