Background:
Otterbourne Church of England Primary School, which is voluntary controlled, is situated in the pleasant village of Otterbourne on the outskirts of Chandlers Ford and Eastleigh in Hampshire. The City of Winchester is four miles to the North of Otterbourne and Southampton eight miles to the South. The school has developed from the original Church of England School which was founded by the Reverend John Keble and Miss Charlotte Yonge, the Victorian authoress, in 1876. The present school buildings were built in 1963 and extended in 1976 and 1999. A new music and drama room was built during the autumn term of 2002.
