St Edmund's Catholic School founded in 1963 with strong links with St Johns Cathedral in Central Portsmouth. The school has achieved excellent results and has advanced curriculum. The school offers fast tracks and vocational opportunities. It also offers excellent provision for gifted and talented pupils. The school develops strong links feeder schools. The school is currently applying for specialist status in humanities, English, geography and religious education. The school facilitates five dedicated computer suites, interactive whiteboards/projectors in most classrooms, 25m indoor swimming pool and school chapel. The school is an outward looking catholic community and aims to create secure, caring and challenging environment. It provides quality educational experience based on Christian values.
