Background:
New Milton Junior School is situated on the edge of the commercial area of the town and shares a green field site with New Milton Infants School. The Junior School was built in 1959 and originally comprised eight class bases on two storeys. The school now has four classrooms. A four classroom extension was completed in 1996 and an additional classroom was completed in 2001. A special needs room will be completed in 2004. Extra-curricular activities include basketball, dance, cycling proficiency and school orchestra.
