Background:
Calthorpe Park School was opened in 1969 and took its name from the original landowner Sir Euan Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe. The site and grounds are particularly attractive with a view onto open countryside. Each subject has its own suite of teaching rooms providing a full range of specialist facilities including the new drama block. A wide range of extra-curricular activities are offered at lunchtime and after-school. These activities include rugby, cricket, netball, football and hockey. The school aims to provide high quality education in a secure and purposeful environment.
