The Petersfield School is a secondary school for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is 11 to 16. The school'site, which is now linked directly to the town via a secure pathway, consists of five main blocks and the sports hall. There are extensive outdoor areas for sport and recreation, which are well used throughout the year. The school library and study centre has recently been refurbished by the appeal trust. Sports facilities are extensive, with a separate gymnasium and sports hall, alongside several outdoor sports areas for tennis, basketball, hockey, cricket, netball, soccer and rugby. The school aims to provide a safe and pleasant environment for effective learning.
