Background:
Woodlands is the only community college in the east of the city and prides itself upon the wealth of opportunity it provides for its local community. As a Specialist College, it is equipped with the latest technology. These include excellent sports facilities, information and advice session and a full adult learning programme with courses ranging from learning internet skills to exercise and relaxation classes. An extensive evening programme is offered which caters for all tastes and abilities. Many of these are run by specialist sports teams and include: tennis, football, inter-school events and competitions, field and track events, cricket, hockey, trampolining, netball, rugby, volleyball, basketball, badminton, dance classes. Woodlands is committed to serving its community by enabling every individual to excel.
